ENJOY THE WORLD THROUGH MY PERSPECTIVE

By engaging the art culture I can help people in the way they think and view people who may just have different abilities. I have various art shows through out the year. My art range in mediums as well subject matter. I use all of my art to minister to those in need and highlight before the world those who they can't rightly see.

BOBBY BLUE BY DANIEL — A Fashion Line Rooted in Disability Culture, Creativity, and Courage

Daniel Aaron Harris, creator of the beloved Bobby Blue Books children’s series, proudly announces the launch of BOBBY BLUE, a fashion line that places disability identity and authentic representation boldly at the center of style.

What began with a simple triangle has grown into a cultural statement decades in the making. As a child who “couldn’t draw a circle,” Daniel discovered his own artistic language early on. A triangle became his signature—first as Billy Blues, a character he created to lift his father’s spirits while he was ill. That triangle, paired with a simple body, eventually evolved into Bobby Blue: a character who would define Daniel’s creative journey for years to come.

Then came a groundbreaking realization—What if Bobby had cerebral palsy just like me?
Growing up in the 1980s and 90s, Daniel never saw a cartoon character with a body like his. So he created one.

Today, Bobby Blue stands as a bold, fully realized character with cerebral palsy, seen proudly with his crutch and unapologetically rooted in disability culture. Bobby is not an afterthought—he is the face of a world Daniel has envisioned for years, one where people with disabilities occupy the center instead of the margins.

Daniel launched Bobby Blue Books in 2007 with the characters Bobby Blue and Ruby Red. Now working on his eleventh book, he continues to expand the universe through vibrant storytelling—and now, through fashion.

The BOBBY BLUE fashion line features hats, shirts, and wearable art designed to spark conversation and celebrate disability identity. The collection invites the disability community—and the world—to claim visibility, power, and pride through bold, graphic storytelling.

“This line isn’t just about clothes,” Daniel says. “It’s about shifting the lens. It’s about making disability culture visible, familiar, and undeniably stylish.”

With the BOBBY BLUE fashion line, Daniel invites you to see the world differently—through Bobby’s eyes, through disabled creativity, and through the bold colors of representation long overdue.
